Tom was raised in Lindsay, Neb. The son of Mac and Angela Andrews. He graduated from Lindsay Holy Family High and graduated from Creighton University. He enlisted in the Air Force during the Korean War and after honorably discharged he came back to Omaha and spent most of his adult life in the banking business. Where he achieved the title of Executive Vice President before retiring.

He married Elaine Tucker and they had four children, Tom Jr., Terri, Mary Beth, and Tim.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mac and Angela; sister, Pat; son Tim; daughter, Mary Beth; and granddaughter, Tina.

He is survived by his son, Tom Jr. (Eva), daughter, Terri (Steve); seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and very special sweetheart, Georgiann Benish.

Tom loved to fish, hunt, travel, golf and later in life was an avid walker at the Westroads. He loved his Creighton Blue Jays and Nebraska Huskers.

Tom lived a full life. He loved his family above all and had many, many friends.

The visitation will take place at John A. Gentleman Mortuaries, 72nd St location, Tuesday, June 2, 2026 5 to 7 p.m. Service will be at St. James Catholic Church, 4710 N 90th St at 10 a.m. Wednesday June 3rd. There will be a luncheon to follow. Interment will be following the luncheon at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 1 p.m.
